St. George's No.3 : Joining

New members are always welcome!

If you are new to Freemason and wish to know more, a Grande Loge Nationale Française (GLNF) mason wishing to join an English-speaking lodge, or an overseas Freemason looking for a lodge to join in Paris, France, then we would love to hear from you. The following information it to guide you. Do contact us for more information.

General information

St.George's No.3 is actively looking to increase the number of our members. It is important to us that, if you join, you will:
  • enjoy being a member of the Lodge
  • be able to attend most of the Lodge meetings
  • take an active part in the life of the Lodge
  • develop as a person following the principals of Freemasonry
  • be able to meet the GLNF fees, membership dues and cost of dining, a total of about €750 per year.

Already a Freemason

If you are already a Freemason and are interested in joining an English-speaking lodge in Pairs, we would be delighted to hear from you.
  • Before applying to join we expect you to have visited on at least two occasions
  • Your application will need to be proposed and seconded by two members
  • Your application will need to be  approved by a vote in the Lodge
  • You will need a certificate of good standing from your other lodges
  • If you are a GLNF mason you can join the lodge as either a full member or as an associate member.
  • If you are non-French mason living in France you will need to join the GLNF as part of joining the Lodge
  • If you are a non-French mason living outside France you can join as an overseas member
