St. George's No.3 : Lodge

About the Lodge

St.George's No.3 is one of the 16 English-speaking Freemason lodges within the Grande Loge Nationale Française (GLNF). About half of the members of St.George's No.3 are non-French and many are also English Freemasons and members of the United Grand Lodge of England.

History of the Lodge

St.George's No.3 was consecrated on Saturday 20th June 1914 as the first lodge formed within the Independent and Regular National Grand Lodge, now the Grande Loge Nationale Française (GLNF), which was created in 1913 by two already established Lodges, the "Centre des Amis" (founded 1793) and "L'Anglaise" of Bordeaux (founded 1732).
